Common projects and programs
An example of active international contacts is the Agreement on Cooperation between KNURE (Department of ICS), VDataGmbH (Germany) and ProfitSoft LLC (Ukraine), which resulted in the opening of the Internet Technologies Laboratory. The planning further cooperation in the field of designing and developing of information systems, as well as the formation of groups of students of the Speciality IUST, which in parallel with the main program, undergo an additional two-year cycle of education and study special disciplines. By the way, OOO ProfitSoft was created by young specialists who are the graduates of the Department with the participation of the VDataGmbH Company.
The Department co-operates with the FRUCT Association. Students, graduate students and teachers have the opportunity to participate in international conferences, publish articles in scientific journals, and take part in contests for grants for internships and further education.
Commonly with PARALLAX SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS INC. (Canada), the Department plans to implement a set of typical projects in the field of Internet of Things. Students, postgraduates and lecturers will be able to conduct model tests of various design decisions. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in contests for grants for internships and further training.
On the initiative of the Department, the Agreement on Cooperation between KNURE and IBM WORLD TRADE CORPORATION was signed. According to this Agreement, the University participates in the IBM Academic Initiative’s Educational Support Program.
The group of lecturers of the Department are members of the Academic Program IBM Academic Initiative, have international certificates from CISCO, MICROSOFT, IGIP (European Engineer Teacher).
