The researching work of students.
One of the directions of the Department activity of ICS is the organization and conducting of the researching work of students which is carried out in the next forms:
- preparation and conducting of the scientific and technical events, such as the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the field of Computer Science, the All-Ukrainian Competition on the Speciality “Computer Science”, International, All-Ukrainian, University Scientific and Technical Forums, Conferences, Exhibitions, Contests, Olympiads, etc.;
- preparation and participation of students in scientific and technical events (conferences, exhibitions, contests, competitions, etc.);
- participation of students in the realization of international projects, innovative projects, state budget, and economics topics of studies;
- students work in science courses and seminars;
- independent work of students in the study of disciplines of the Specialty;
- student’s hold master classes on modern areas of the information technology usage;
- volunteer activity of students in the organization of International, All-Ukrainian, University scientific and technical events, etc.;
- organization of a meeting of students with employees of firms and organizations with which the Department of ICS interacts;
- organization of a meeting of students with the staff of the Department of ICS, postgraduate students, doctoral students in order to get acquainted with the history of the researching work of the Department, the current state and prospects of this work.
The students of the ICS Department have twice become the winners of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the direction of “Computer Science” over the past 10 years.
More than 200 exhibits were presented at various exhibitions of technical creativity of youth.
7 students received prize-winning places at All-Ukrainian and Regional Contests of student’s scientific works.
They have published more than 40 articles and more than 530 abstracts at the different conferences and forums including international ones.
