International partnership
The Department cooperates with the following universities and companies in academic education and scientific-technical cooperation:
- University of Jyväskylä (Finland) — Master's training (double degree);
- FRUCT Association (Finland) — Master's training (double degree) at European Union universities, internships;
- Linnæus University (Sweden, jointly with the Software Engineering Department) — Master's training (double degree);
- IBM World Trade Corporation (USA) — testing, IT training methods for students, certification in the use of IBM software;
- ProfITSoft Ltd., VData GmbH (Germany) and Parallax Software Solutions Inc. (Canada) — optional student training in programming technologies, training sessions, testing, and lectures.
Obtaining certificates as a student
The Department cooperates with Ukrainian and foreign companies and actively takes part in international student exchange programmes with the universities of Jyväskylä (Finland) and Linnæus (Sweden).
Every year, the Department helps students take part in IBM Cloud technology testing and obtain academic certificates in this field.

IT companies
Common projects and programmes
ProfITSoft Ltd. and VData GmbHAn example of active international contacts is the cooperation agreement between NURE (ICS Department), VData GmbH (Germany) and ProfitSoft LLC (Ukraine), which resulted in the opening of the Internet Technologies Laboratory. Further plans include cooperation in designing and developing information systems, as well as forming groups of ICST students who, alongside the main programme, complete an additional two-year cycle of study and take special disciplines. Incidentally, ProfitSoft LLC was founded by young specialists — graduates of the Department — with the participation of VData GmbH.
FRUCT AssociationThe Department cooperates with the FRUCT Association. Students, postgraduates and lecturers have the opportunity to take part in international conferences, publish articles in scientific journals, and compete for grants for internships and further study.
Parallax Software Solutions Inc.Together with Parallax Software Solutions Inc. (Canada), the Department plans to implement a set of typical projects in the field of the Internet of Things. Students, postgraduates and lecturers will be able to conduct prototype testing of various design solutions. Students also have the opportunity to compete for grants for internships and further study.
IBM World Trade CorporationOn the Department's initiative, a cooperation agreement was signed between NURE and IBM World Trade Corporation, under which the University takes part in the IBM Academic Initiative educational support programme.
A group of the Department's lecturers are members of the IBM Academic Initiative academic programme and hold international certificates from Cisco, Microsoft, and IGIP (European Engineering Educator).
