Academic integrity
Academic integrity is one of the core principles of educational and research activity at NURE. Academic works and coursework by higher education students must be produced honestly and independently, with proper references to the sources used and in line with the requirements of academic writing.

What counts as a violation of academic integrity
The Regulation on the Academic Integrity Assurance System at NURE names, in particular, the following types of violations:
- academic plagiarism and self-plagiarism;
- fabrication and falsification;
- completing an assignment non-independently and unauthorised assistance;
- dishonest assessment;
- dishonest use of digital tools or artificial intelligence systems;
- academic sabotage.
Requirements for student work
- Sources used are cited with their authorship, title, place of publication or access and other bibliographic details, following the established citation style.
- Your own previous results may be used only if such use is properly indicated.
- In joint works, the personal contribution of each co-author is specified where required by the terms of a publication, competition, defence or grant application.
- If a work uses objects generated by an artificial intelligence system, the author discloses this and specifies the generation method and/or the software. The use of artificial intelligence cannot replace the author’s personal contribution.
