What programming skills do you need to enrol on ITM?
Anyone who has passed the relevant External Independent Testing (ZNO) exams can enrol on ITM. But it will be easier for those who have at least basic knowledge.
Can you study on ITM and at another educational institution in Ukraine, or abroad, at the same time?
In Ukraine, students at higher education institutions have the right to pursue two higher education degrees at the same time. A student may study under several educational programmes at one institution, or at several different higher education institutions. Such study is possible provided the student obtains one degree at each level (Bachelor's or Master's) on a state-funded basis, and the other on a fee-paying basis.
In addition to the courses in the curriculum, are there any additional courses or programmes?
Leading specialists from partner IT companies (ProfITSoft, SoftServe, EPAM and others) provide training and workshops, and involve ITM students in their real projects. As a result of this cooperation, most students receive job offers while still studying.
How often are the courses in the ITM programme updated?
The core courses of the Computer Science speciality, studied under all educational programmes, are updated in agreement with all the leading departments for all educational programmes. The elective courses of the Department of Information Control Systems are updated annually. Leading specialists from IT companies where our graduates work, graduates themselves, and senior-year students are involved in making adjustments, through surveys, gathering feedback, and special invitations to discussions.
What percentage of graduates with an ITM diploma find employment?
100%, with 80% doing so while still studying, in years 3–4.
Is it possible to live in a hall of residence while studying?
Yes, the university has several halls of residence at its disposal. There are also rooms equipped for students with special needs.
Is it possible to combine studying with work?
From the 3rd year onwards, a student can arrange an individual schedule and not attend lectures in person.
What form of study is it?
Study takes place in a distance-learning format, in asynchronous mode.
