Part-time study
Contents
Part-time study lets you earn a degree while continuing to work. At the Department of Information Control Systems, students of three study programmes in speciality F3 Computer Science study part-time — from Bachelor to Doctor of Philosophy.
Study programmes offered part-time
- Information Technology for Management (ITM)
Bachelor · full-time and part-time · 3 years 10 months
- Information Control Systems and Technology (ICST)
Master · full-time and part-time · 1 year 4 months
- Computer Science (PhD)
Doctor of Philosophy · full-time and part-time · 4 years
Forms and durations of study are given according to Appendix 1 to the NURE Admission Rules 2026, which also lists the licensed enrolment capacity and tuition fees. In 2026 the Master's programme “Project Management in the Field of Information Technology” admits full-time students only. There is no shortened study period (2 years 10 months on the basis of a junior bachelor's or another degree) for the ITM programme in 2026: admission is to the first year only, on the basis of complete general secondary education.
How study is organised
Part-time study at the university is organised by the NURE Scientific and Training Centre for Extra-Mural Education. There are two laboratory and examination sessions every year, and during the semester students receive consultations from their teachers. Study periods, programme content, the list of courses and the qualification documents are the same as in full-time study; tuition is funded either by the state or by individuals or legal entities.
