About the programme

The educational and research programme “Project Management in the Field of Information Technology” (PMIT) trains highly qualified researchers in IT project management who have a sound body of knowledge and are familiar with current scientific and applied advances in the field. Graduates can formulate, solve and generalise practical problems, carry out research using modern information technologies, and handle innovative tasks.

The period of study is 1 year 9 months.

Competencies

In addition to their professional competencies, graduates are able to:

plan and conduct research in computer science;
teach and do research at higher education institutions;
plan IT projects within the life cycle of IT products and manage their delivery;
lead teams of contributors and IT project managers;
choose modern information systems and technologies for project management and integrate them into the IT project management system;
apply DevOps principles and practices in IT project management.
