Personal data processing
The department collects personal data only through two forms: «Contact» and «Programme feedback».
Contact form
What we store: your name, email address, subject and text of the message, the consent flag and the language of the page the message was sent from.
Why: to reply to your message. Your address is used only for the reply.
Where it goes: to the password-protected administration area of this website and to an email sent to the department's official mailbox d_ics@nure.ua. The notification email with your submission is delivered via the university's Google Workspace mail service.
How long: Submissions are kept until a department editor deletes them in the admin panel; on request to d_ics@nure.ua we will delete your submission.
Programme feedback form
What we store: the programme the feedback is about, who you are (student, graduate, employer), the feedback text, the consent mark and the page language. Your name and email only if you left them.
Why: to improve the study programmes. In quality reports and on the site the department quotes only the content of feedback — without names or addresses. An address, if you left one, is used only to reply.
Where it goes and for how long: the same as a contact form message — the site's admin area and an email to d_ics@nure.ua; it is kept until a department editor deletes it.
Spam protection
We write neither your IP address nor browser details to the database or the logs. To limit repeated messages and feedback submissions, the server keeps only salted hashes of the IP address and of the email address — in memory, for 10 minutes, after which they are gone. The anti-bot check (ALTCHA) runs in your browser, with no third-party service.
Cookies
The site sets two functional cookies: theme (the light or dark theme you chose) and NEXT_LOCALE (the
language you chose). The site sets no tracking cookies of its own.
The Google map on the Contacts page loads automatically when you scroll to it; Google may then set its own cookies.

To find out what data we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted, write to d_ics@nure.ua.
