Nataliia Vasyltsova

1980 – graduated with honours from Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics (KhIRE) in the specialism “Automated Control Systems”.

1980 – engineer, Junior Research Fellow, Research Sector (RS) of KhIRE.

1988 – Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Research Sector of KhIRE.

1991 – Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD), speciality 05.13.01 – Control in Technical Systems; defended the dissertation at KhIRE.

1993 – Senior Lecturer, ACS Department (KhTURE).

1995 – awarded the academic title of Senior Research Fellow,

Since 1996 – Associate Professor, Department of Information Control Systems (ICS), KhTURE.

2005 – awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

Teaches the courses: “Discrete Mathematics”, “Mathematical Methods of Operations Research”, “Discrete Structures”, “Project Team Management”.

In 2003–2005, she headed the IAS “University” Division, which developed and implemented the information and analytical system “University” at NURE.

While working at NURE, she took part in 4 contract and 7 state-funded research projects.

She was a researcher on the state-funded research project “Development of an Information and Analytical System with Distributed Artificial Intelligence (‘University’)”; a researcher on the state-funded project “Methods and Models for Building Web Services for Business Process Management Tasks in an Intelligent Information Environment”; lead researcher of the state-funded project “Development of Models and Methods for Managing IT Projects for Creating, Implementing, Operating and Upgrading Intelligent Information Environments, Systems and Technologies of Regional Socio-Economic Entities”; lead researcher of the contract project “Development of an Information System for Academic Process Management (Stage 1)”; a researcher on the contract project “Development of Specifications for an Information Technology for Integrating Heterogeneous Services of an Enterprise Management Information System”.

Public and International Activities

Responsible for organising student research work at the ICS Department; scientific secretary of a section of the International Youth Forum “Radio Electronics and Youth in the 21st Century”; organises student research paper competitions, olympiads and exhibitions.
