1970 – graduated with honours from Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics (KhIRE) in the specialism “Automation and Telemechanics”.

1970 – Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Automated Control Systems (ACS).

1974 – Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD); defended the dissertation at KhIRE.

1974 – Assistant, ACS Department (KhIRE).

1974 – Senior Lecturer, ACS Department (KhIRE).

1977 – Associate Professor, ACS Department (KhIRE).

1979 – awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

1996 – Doctor of Technical Sciences (D.Sc.), speciality 05.13.06 – Automated Control Systems and Advanced Information Technologies; defended the dissertation at Kharkiv State Technical University of Radio Electronics.

1996 – awarded the academic title of Professor.

1992–1999 – Dean of the Faculty for International Students (KhTURE).

1999–2006 – Director of the Institute of Computer and Information Technologies (KhTURE, NURE).

1994 – Head of Department of ACS, KhTURE (since 1997 – the Department of Information Control Systems, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics).

Teaches the courses: “Information Systems Design”, “Agile Methodology for Information Systems Development”, “Information Systems and Technologies in Project Management”.

Main research areas: development of formalised system analysis tools describing the structure of automated systems under development and their design life cycle; theoretical and methodological foundations for building complex computerised integrated complexes, describing complex systems and integrating their elements; development of automated tools supporting management decisions, automated cost management systems and adaptive integrated enterprise management systems; models, technologies and tools for designing information control systems.

Head of one of the leading departments in the field of “Information Control Systems and Technology”; co-author of qualification descriptors, standard curricula and educational and professional programmes.

Involved in training researchers and academic staff: supervised 23 Candidates of Sciences and 2 Doctors of Sciences.

Project: research project “Methods and Models of Self-Organisation of the Infrastructure of an Intelligent Information Environment Based on Cloud Computing Principles”; section “Methods and Models for Building Web Services for Business Process Management Tasks in an Intelligent Information Environment”.

Developments or products proposed for implementation using the capabilities of the Academy of Sciences of Applied Radio Electronics (ASARE), its collective and individual members and its institutions: the standard information and analytical system “University” (IAS “University”) – a new integrated product designed to substantially improve the management of higher education institutions of Ukraine in all main areas of their activity. IAS “University” comprises the modules “Human Resources Department”, “Department”, “Postgraduate Studies”, “Dean’s Office” and others.

Member of the specialised councils for the defence of dissertations for the degrees of Candidate and Doctor of Technical Sciences at NURE, member of the editorial boards of 4 scientific publications, member of the methodological commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in “Computer Science”, member of the Academic and Methodological Council and the Academic Council of NURE.

Leads the work of scientific sections of the International Youth Forum and the International Scientific Conference.

Since 2002 – Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Applied Radio Electronics of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
