On 19-21 October 2020 NURE hosted the XXIV International Youth Forum "Radio Electronics and Youth in the 21st Century".
The Department of Information Control Systems organised the preparation and running of the sessions of the section "Information Systems and Technologies for Managing Project and Operational Activities of Enterprises and Organisations" at the "Information Intelligent Systems" conference of the forum.
Chair of the section: Head of the ICS Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. K.E. Petrov.
Secretary of the section: Professor of the ICS Department, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor N.V. Vasyltsova.
42 participants (students) and 12 scientific supervisors attended the section's sessions, and 36 presentations were given on the section's topics.
As part of the section's work, preliminary defences of the main points of master's theses were also held for students studying in speciality 122 Computer Science.
Summing up the section's work showed that:
- the share of students' research papers that involve experimental studies and bring them to actual practical implementation has increased;
- a number of research papers were also presented at the youth technical creativity exhibition held as part of the forum;
- compared with previous forums, year 1-2 students not only took a more active part in the section's work, but also won prize places.
