NURE held its Open Day.
Senior secondary school students who aspire to become IT professionals visited the Faculty of Computer Sciences (CS).
Lecturers from our Department also took an active part in the event (A. Kalnytska, A. Kozhanov and K. Petrov).
The Department's lecturers presented the educational programme (EP) Information Technology for Management (ITM) and talked about its features and the skills and competencies that future professionals will gain upon completing it.
A separate event and a real surprise was the Agile poker masterclass. Prospective students split into teams and tried to estimate the complexity of tasks. During the game, the applicants not only learned what Agile/Scrum is, but also gained useful skills in teamwork on projects.
Of course, there were gifts too.
The winning teams, who demonstrated real team spirit, received sweet prizes, which added even more positive emotions.
The ICS Department is always open for communication. We are always glad to welcome everyone who wants not just to study, but also aspires to become a professional in the IT field.
