DevOps has rapidly burst into the world of IT and become an integral part of it. The synthesis of the two fields, Development and Operations, has shaped the modern direction of software development and highlighted the importance of automating the product life cycle.
This course is for you if you:
- 2nd–4th year NURE student;
- want to build a systematic understanding of the essence of the DevOps methodology, its place and role in the project life cycle;
- want to know what requirements exist for specialists in this field;
- are ready to learn from leading SoftServe experts.
Over 8 weeks you'll learn:
- what deploying project infrastructure is and how to automate it;
- how infrastructure can be code, what CI/CD is, and how it affects the growing frequency of releases;
- the differences between the professions of system administrator and system engineer;
- what the difference is between virtualisation and containerisation.
- plenty of new and relevant information from the world of DevOps.
Classes will run from 24.02 to 16.04 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
