The complexity and scale of projects keep growing, as does the need for a higher intensity of releases. This drives the development of new methodologies, practices and fields that ensure the optimisation of software product development. One of these is software testing.
Quality Assurance. Essentials. Crash Course is aimed at those who:
- want to understand the differences between manual and automated testing, as well as the reasons for the appropriateness of using both, and to understand when complex and repetitive processes should be replaced with automated testing;
- want to learn how to use automation to improve process efficiency;
- want to get acquainted with automation tools, approaches to automation (BDD, TDD, KDT, DDT), and system automation levels, which involves writing unit tests, API and GUI tests;
- are looking for answers to other questions needed to build a systematic understanding of automated testing.
This course is for you if you:
- are a year 1-4 student
- want to gain new knowledge and skills
- want to find out more about automated testing and how relevant the profession is;
- want to know what requirements exist for specialists in this field;
- are ready to learn from leading SoftServe experts.
