Data analysis in DSS
The “Methods and Models of Data Analysis and Visualisation in DSS” student research club (2025/2026 academic year) was established to promote students' interest in and awareness of data visualisation and analysis, and to prepare students for future work in the IT sector as data analysts.

Olena Dmytrivna Mikhnova — Associate Professor of the ICS Department, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.
Areas of work
- analysis of multimedia data using AI tools;
- exploring the capabilities of existing software tools for use in decision support systems (DSS);
- familiarisation with data analysis models and methods;
- visualisation using Microsoft Power BI and Python and R libraries.
The club's scientific value lies in increasing students' interest in its research areas and in the publication activity of its members.
